Pray

This Sunday afternoon we learned that Roger and Norma Alexander's daughter, Lori Angel, passed away suddenly from a sickness (to be determined). Her husband, Mark Angel, died in a drowning accident in 2007 during a mission trip. They leave behind their 9 year old daughter, Riley. 

Roger & Norma, Carmen (sister), John & Bella, Scott (brother), Lindsay, Cameron & Ethan all returned to the States. Cara (sister), Tom and Chase are also in the States awaiting the arrival of their second child. 

We are asking for prayer for the Alexander family, and especially Riley. To quote Norma...

"Riley is a combination of her Mama and Daddy so she WILL BE strong. She talks, she cries, she is sad, BUT she also knows what she will have to do, and talks about it! Brave, strong, sweet, caring, and she will be alright. She will know sadness, anger, and all the other emotions that go with death, but she has a multiple of people who will help her, love her, care for her and do all in our power to help her. We want everyone to know how wonderful were her friends, the church family, the hospital personnel, and anyone who answered any need were in this time of need. Lori will be MISSED. Lori was LOVED. Would we wish her back? Of course selfishly we would, she was Riley's mother, but for her future, we hold no regrets!"

We feel blessed here at Sonlight that God sent us an amazing group of visitors this week. We have a teacher, retired special ed. teacher, retired administrator, and a generator expert among the absolute servants on this team. A couple who has traveled here many times,Ken and Nancy Horn (Ken being the generator expert) will be staying until John comes back to make sure we are not without a working generator. We remain blessed here and in good hands.
