This week our group of visitors from Port Charlotte, Florida transformed the Sonlight Preschool room into a day spa. They had a special afternoon for the ladies of Sonlight with cookies, the most awesome mints, tea and coffee. I can't believe they offered to give us pedicures! What is more humbling than washing someone's feet? And our feet are on concrete floors and black sand playgrounds which counts for double on the "humble foot washing scale".
The leaders from this group, Ken and Nancy Horn, also head up our stateside grocery shopping and they make sure it gets on the boat; which is no small feat. They shop for about five to six months of food for 10 households here at Sonlight. This takes a trailer, several trips and a whole lot of love!
