When I Grow Up...

Thought you'd enjoy these first grade student answers to "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Roosenide--- "I want to be Jesus!"

Alexander (a boy)--- "I want to be a mom."

Admathai--- "I want to be a docton to help pepl in my cominity."

We've been talking about communities, neighborhoods and being a good citizen. Every morning I start class with a 'Morning Warm-Up' question to get our brains thinking in english. Today's question was "How can I be a good citizen in my community?"

I asked Armani to read it aloud from the board. He read, "How can I be a good SKELETON in my community?" To his benefit, we did study skeletons in science last month.
