There is no shortage of Christmas celebration here at Sonlight! We've been as busy as people in the States. Last Sunday, we had our annual Sonlight Staff party. Norma made pizza and cake. Two rare foods in Haiti. For entertainment, two Sonlight teachers taught our whole staff how to line dance (in two different languages). This was a blast. I wish I had pictures to post, but I was too busy getting in on the action. I laughed so hard my face hurt. It was a great way to have fun with people you see working so hard day-to-day. I loved it. The first picture is of the entire Haitian staff here at Sonlight. From teacher's assistants, to construction, maintanence, household workers and kitchen staff. I snapped a picture of my classroom assistants too. Somehow I couldn't convince Stephen to get a picture with his assistant, Jeffney; imagine that?!?
